Program Manager – Program Manager required to execute ~ $5M rotary wing FFP SDD upgrad e contract leading to follow on LRIP and FRP. Program includes 2 major partners/subcontractors. Position reports to the Executive Chair/Chief technology Officer of the business. Qualifications: 5 – 10 years Industry Experience as an aerospace/defense Program Manager. US Army Rotary Wing experience a plus. Current or recent security clearance a plus. Must have knowledge in Integrated Planning and Scheduling, Earned Value Management, Requirements Management, Baseline Management, Risk Management, Issue and Action Management, Sub-Contracts Management. Pay rate: $60.00 per hour. Term: 6 – 10 months assignment.
Project Administrator – Develop and maintain program schedules for new development work, with minimal supervision. Ability to track SPI and CPI accurately, resource loaded to identify constraints, and track material dollars and delivery schedules. Program schedules built with appropriate detail of CDRL items by date, majority and critical milestones to achieve all contract requirements and enough detail in sub-tasks to accurately track SPI/CPI to report and make program decisions. Identify, negotiate and resolve conflicts with respect to engineering schedule due to material and capacity availability (including technical and process issues that impact the program schedule). Conduct, daily, weekly meetings to support the above tasks. Have working knowledge of the company’s products and processes to ensure op timal master schedule stability, order creation, reschejuling and level capacity loading. Act as an internal educator and consultant on project scheduling issues providing education and training throughout the organization. Continuous follow-up with internal procurement and others to ensure on time receipt of required materials and equipment. Qualifications: College degree preferred. 4+ years related experience. Extensive knowledge of MS Project, manager program, government contracts, and other scheduling tools. Excel, Word, and Outlook experience. Analytical and conceptual ability required to evaluate and to solve scheduling complexities and constraints. Good decision making and organizational skills. Must be able to work without supervision and manage under stress to meet deadlines. Pay rate: $45K per year. Term: Direct hire.
Sheet Metal Mechanic – Fabrication of sheet metal details. Must be able to interpret layout flat pattern and fabricate detail sheet metal parts from engineering blueprints, drawings, verbal and/or written instruction. Must be able to determine sequence of operation when assembling details to the final assembly configuration. Must have wood working abilities (IE: building boxes, crates etc.). Must have some mechanical ability to install parts on aircraft. Qualifications: High school graduate, trade school graduate or at least 5 years related experience in the sheet metal field. Must be able to work within blueprint tolerances +/-.010 to +/- .030. Must be able to use precision measuring equipment. Must have a comprehensive working knowledge of mathematics including geometry and trigonometry. Must be able to operate related shop equipment IE: Hydraulic press brake, Hydraulic sheer, Strippet, Band saws, Manual milling machines, Table saw, Jointer, Planner. Pay rate: $24.50 per hour. Term: 1 year
Processor – Perform a variety of repetitive assembly and/or chemical processing operations which may include chemical weigh-out, mixing, casting, hardware unpacking, assembly, packaging and inventory control of hardware and chemicals. Places parts in specified relationship to each other, operate and tend automatic and manual processing equipment, use a variety of hand and power tools, jigs and fixtures, work at different work stations as production needs require, and perform general daily housekeeping and cleaning of equipment and area to ensure safe working conditions. Assignment is approximately for 4 months. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED, read and understand manufacturing instructions and perform arithmetic at an eighth grade level, exert 20 lbs. of force frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally, ability to work in weathered conditions, able to wear respirator, and 2 years processor experience. Prefer previous production/assembly/manufacturing experience. Able to obtain approval through ATF to handle our products. Blueprint reading experience a plus.
