Kathleen Mascareñas, co-host and executive producer of LaFusion TV certainly has her own LaFlair! Never one to follow the conventional route, Kathleen’s passion for television and her culture led her to co-create LaFusion.

The adventure-seeking, Emmy Award winning Journalist started her broadcast career in Midland, Odessa in 1990. She’s worked for ABC and NBC affiliates in Wichita, Kansas and Phoenix, AZ. “I’ve covered so many unique stories in my career. At times I have felt like Forrest Gump watching history unfold while thinking, ‘What’s a girl from Grants, New Mexico doing here?’”

Her favorite moments on the job include interviews with President George H.W. Bush, President Bill Clinton, as well as sit-down interviews with Matthew McConaughey and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Yes ladies, it’s a tough job. But somebody’s gotta do it!!

Kathleen operates two companies: Mas Video Productions and Public Relations, as well as, Passport Media, LLC, the parent company of LaFusion TV. Kathleen emcees events, hosts select, corporate videos and field produces for many networks such as the CBS Early Show, The Food Network, America’s Most Wanted, Nightline and NBC Nightly News.

She is blessed with three beautiful children: Lauren, 8, Katelyn, 6 and Ryan 5—as well as a wonderfully supportive husband, Freddy.
