Nicolle Hernandez Cunningham
Nicolle Hernandez Cunningham is the super cool, super spunky, co-creator, co-host and producer of LaFusion—American Life. Latin Style!
The youngest of six children Nicolle always embraced her family’s heritage: three of her grandparents immigrated to the United States from Mexico and Puerto Rico seeking the American dream. Nicolle learned to speak Spanish from her grandparents and by studying abroad in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
Nicolle always dreamed of creating a show that focused on the positive contributions of Latinos in mainstream America. Nearly three years after teaming up with her former news colleague, Kathleen Mascareñas, LaFusion TV hit the air! Nicolle manages Passport Media LLC, the parent company of LaFusion TV.
The Arizona native and proud University of Arizona wildcat started her television career in Colorado; she then moved back to her home state of Arizona to join the news team at the NBC affiliate in Phoenix. Some of her most memorable stories include one-on-one interviews with music legend Joe Cocker and President Jimmy Carter.
Her biggest fans are her husband, two beautiful children and entire family! “My family has always supported my dream of creating this show and continue to show their love to me everyday. I want my children to learn about their Latin heritage and to understand that it’s an important part of who they are.”
